CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
The PLANET'NGO internet site is a communal guide that provides a communication service for small associations. Through what we call their "NGO file" they can present their achievements, projects and need for materials, finance and skills.
CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION
To be able to avail of these services, associations must:
Operate in humanitarian areas: health, social activities (including human rights), children, the environment,
Have an average annual budget of less than €300,000 over the past three years,
Have a nonlucrative goal,
Regularly update the information in their files published on the PLANET'NGO site.
Include only factual information and not incite hatred against other people, communities or countries on the grounds of racial background, gender, religious believes, political views, behaviour, etc.
Our code of ethics prevents us from publishing information on NGOs which do not meet these criteria.
HOW TO REGISTER AN ASSOCIATION
If the association meets the required criteria, you can submit it for the PLANET'NGO site.
If you are the person to be contacted in case of any request of information from PLANET’NGO or potential sponsors and volunteers, you have to create an account as the main contact of the association : register on the site as an "NGO Contact". You can then complete the information concerning the NGO. A new 'NGO Contact' profile has to be created for each association for which you are the main contact.
If you want to give information about an NGO you know of but for which you are not the main contact, register on the site as an "Editor". You can then complete the information concerning the NGO. You can also submit other associations you know of through your "Editor" profile.
REGISTRATION FEE
An annual registration fee of €30 is required to allow publication of the NGO file on the PLANET'NGO site. This subscription will allow you to take advantage of the success of our communication campaigns targeted to individuals and companies who may be interested in helping you with your projects.
Follow the instructions provided in the email confirmation of registration or renewal and click on the Paypal secure payment. The file will be published within 48 hours of receipt of payment. If you cannot use Paypal to pay your registration fee, contact us and we will offer you other payment options.
Non-payment of the registration fee after a few renewal reminders will lead to the NGO file being taken off the PLANET'NGO site. The association therefore does not have to do anything if they wish to be de-registered.
DELISTING
At the request of the NGO:
The main contact of the association can request that its file be taken off the PLANET'NGO site at any time by sending an email to PLANET'NGO. We will ask for the reasons behind this decision in order to improve our service, but the NGO that wishes to be delisted is in no way obliged to give any justification. The file will be delisted within 72 hours of the request. No reimbursement of the annual registration fee can be made by PLANET'NGO in part or in full following a delisting at the request of the NGO.
On PLANET’NGO's initiative:
PLANET’NGO reserves the right to de-list the file of any NGO that does not respect the ethical charter or does not conform to one or more of the criteria listed in the paragraph "Conditions for Registration".
The main contact of the association concerned is immediately informed by email.
An NGO which is de-listed due to non-conformity will not have its registration fee reimbursed in whole or in part.
